Gamride Pro is an independent ride-hailing brand that is owned and operated by the same company 
as Gamride. Both platforms share the same management, office location, and data systems, but 
function as distinct services with separate branding and similar operations. This privacy policy 
applies equally to users of both platforms and ensures consistent data protection and security.

Users can disable location sharing through device settings, but doing so may impact

This data is never shared publicly and is only used internally to maintain standards, safety, and
driver incentives.

13. App Permissions 

Both Gamride and Gamride Pro apps may request the following permissions:

   ● Location: For trip tracking and pickup/drop-off mapping

   ● Microphone: For voice calls between driver and passenger

   ● Contacts (optional): To refer users or invite friends

Gamride and Gamride Pro may share infrastructure, wallets, and verification systems:

   ● Wallet balances may reflect across both apps (if linked under same user account)

   ● Shared customer and driver databases for admin management

   ● Cross-promotion of discounts and loyalty programs 

Users are notified if data is reused between platforms.

15. Fraud Prevention & Safety

We use the following tools to detect fraud:

   ● Abnormal ride frequency alerts

   ● Suspicious payment activity monitoring

   ● Re-verification for flagged  accounts

We may suspend or investigate accounts temporarily to ensure platform safety.

review or delete any such data.

20. Wallet & Payment Data

We collect and process wallet-related information including:

   ● Wallet balance and top-up history

   ● Payment methods (AfriMoney, Wave, card details)

   ● Transaction timestamps

   ● Refund or bonus credits

Wallet data is encrypted and used to facilitate rides, incentives, and refunds. Users can request
wallet history upon written request.

This data is shared only with the compliance team and is not visible to other users.

31. Data Access for Fleet Operators

If your rides are assigned through a fleet operator or group account:

   ● Operators are bound to internal platform policies

   ● You may switch operators or accounts with written approval

Fleet-level data is governed by additional contracts.

32. Account Deactivation & Data Retention 

After you close your account:

   ● Personal data is archived securely for 90 days

   ● After that, it is deleted or anonymized

   ● Legal exceptions apply (fraud, ongoing investigations, chargebacks) 

Users can reactivate accounts within the 90-day grace period.

33. Cross-Brand Identity 

If you use both Gamride and Gamride Pro apps:

   ● Your login, identity, and contact details may be unified

   ● Wallet balances and rewards may sync (if same account/email)

   ● Preferences like notifications or contact settings will mirror across both apps

This allows seamless cross-brand access and support.

34. Administrative Access 

Our admin team may access limited user data for:

   ● Account setup or edits

   ● Technical troubleshooting

   ● Dispute resolution

   ● Bulk changes (e.g., zone transfers, fleet assignments) 

All administrative activity is logged and reviewed for compliance.

35. Audit Trails & Logs 

Every ride, wallet action, login, or sensitive request is logged with a timestamp and IP address.
This data is used to:
